My biggest focus with clients is understanding their big picture company goals so that we can create a PR strategy that best serves them. My experience prior to founding Mindshare PR spans four agencies and two technology startups working in-house where I focused on everything from traditional PR to crisis communications to media training, messaging and positioning. I started Mindshare PR in 2000, with the goal of working more closely with our clients, and becoming partners with the founders and technologists. I am inspired by innovative technologies. Along with PR, I like networking and connecting clients to like-minded companies and people inside and outside of Silicon Valley which has led to a number of successful exits. Outside of work, I love swimming, gardening, spending time with family and traveling.

I am an adventurer by nature and thought by the age of 10 that I would spend my whole life as a newspaper reporter. Meeting people, hearing their stories, seeing and experiencing things and sharing it all with others is what drives and fulfills me. I moved from the newsroom to public relations early in my career, but my earliest drivers remain. In addition to a deep focus on messaging development, delivery and amplification, I have always been drawn to the analytical, data-driven side of PR. I have a passion for metrics, competitive comparison, and other quantifiable aspects of our work that help us secure the most impactful opportunities for our clients and ensure that what we are saying, how we are saying it, and to whom, are directly aligned with the business outcomes we and our clients are working to achieve. On the side, I play blues guitar and take travel pics whenever I can.
